Abstract (EN)
In today's world where global competition is increasing, technology and innovation have become essential conditions for a stable economic growth. For technology and innovation to emerge, knowledge must be commercialized together with research and development activities. In this context, Technology Development Zones encourage the development of new technologies and products by producing technological innovations or by providing technology transfer for the commercialization of information. In this regard, the incentives determined within the framework of the Law No. 4691 on Technology Development Zones and the Law No. 5746 on Supporting Research and Development Activities, which are in force in our country, have been discussed as the basic legislation on economic growth models and tax incentives applied in Technology Development Zones within the framework of the concept of innovation. It has also been examined econometric indicators of technological innovation and economic growth relationship in Turkey. The aim of this study is; Turkey made tax incentives for the Technological Development activities of the Regions, innovation indicators of the impact on economic growth is to address the theoretical and empirical. As a result of the work done for this purpose; The impact of R & D innovation indication of their relationship to economic growth in Turkey's share in GDP to total R & D spending has been found to be weak except in the relation of causality. Therefore, although it is observed that tax incentives for R&D have increased, some deficiencies in increasing the effectiveness of tax incentives on innovation indicators and economic growth need to be regulated.
