Abstract (EN)
Human resources operations are being processed in many private companies today, to improve the quality in enterprises, and in parallel, to get the maximum efficiency from employees. In the world, big companies, especially in the past 15 years, have closed their personnel departments, to change them into human resources departments. In the research that?s the subject of this thesis, the answers to the questions ?How is the Turkish press applying human resources operations, in which new developments are being applied on a daily basis? And how closely is it keeping up with these developments? are being searched.Answers have been obtained through asking questions to people who are in control of the human resource offices of press enterprises. The subjects of the questions asked are based on the basic concepts of human resources, namely: motivation, performance, personnel training, tariffs, etc.To get information on the work that press enterprises do for their human resources deparments, Hürriyet, Sabah, Cumhuriyet, Yeni Şafak, Akşam and Milliyet newspapers have been included as examples. When the answers that these enterprises gave to the questions asked are evaluated, it can be observed that Hürriyet Newspaper is a couple of steps ahead in terms of human resources operations. Yet, it is observed that the human resources departments of the press enterprises that have been analyzed, are still not working with a high percentage capacity.Key Words:1.Person2.Press3.Development4.Quality
