Abstract (EN)
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important sea passages for world oil. This is the only way to enter the Persian Gulf and reach the countries of the region by sea. The presence of a significant part of the world's oil and gas resources in the waters of the Persian Gulf significantly increases the importance of the Strait of Hormuz. Most of the oil produced by the Persian Gulf countries passes through the Strait of Hormuz. It is the strait bull connecting the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman. As 20% of the world's daily energy needs pass through this strategic waterway, any possible interruption in oil exports will cause major oil crises. This issue is important because some of the oil needed by the United States, Europe, and many Asian countries passes through this waterway. For example, three-quarters of Japan's daily oil needs pass through the Strait of Hormuz in oil tankers. Huge tanks that can store 2 million barrels of crude oil each. In addition to controlling the Strait of Hormuz, the Islamic Republic of Iran controls all the entrances and exits on the Strait of Hormuz waterway, with bases on Abu Musa Island and islands such as the Great Tunb and the Small Tunb. Making the Strait of Hormuz unsafe can have dire consequences, as large oil tankers must have the necessary security to pass through this waterway.
