In terms of international law of unmanned aerial vehicles

The rapid developments in the field of technology, artificial intelligence and other developments in recent years have introduced unmanned aerial vehicle systems to the battlefield of states instead of manned aircraft systems. One of the most important of these systems is Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). Today, it is used in a wide variety from civilian uses to military operations, while UAV's are primarily used for reconnaissance, surveillance and providing image intelligence. However, these systems have a different use than other manned systems, some problems may be encountered in their use and application. The most important of these problems are legal problems. İn this study, the legal dimension of the use of UAV's in terms of international law is discussed. With each passing day, the existing legal problems and gaps in the use of UAVs become more important and require solutions. After discussing these issues mentioned in our study, evaluations are made on the subject.
