Abstract (EN)
The main objective of this thesis is to determine the success factors of the Turkish Firms operating in Kosovo. Besides the main objective, it is targeted to find out the characteristics of those Turkish Firms, location determinants, entrance strategies as well as barriers faced while operating in Kosovo. The friendship between Turkey and Kosovo, and dating back to common history has made them to sign different agreements. The presence of important agreements has encouraged Turkish investors to take place in Kosovo's market. Thus, having in consideration the fact that considerable number of Turkish firms operate in Kosovo, shows that it is an important statement that has to be researched. If we look the results of the research we can see that most of the firms are small and medium enterprises. But in the meantime big businesses take place too. Furthermoe, the most chosen entrance strategy by those firms is greenfield investment following with direct exporting. In addition, the most important success factors are quality in services and to meet the needs of consumers. Following, working with talented and educated personnel as well as providing products fitting to consumer expectations.
