Abstract (EN)

In present study, it is looked for answers question of "Is there a meaningful relationship between life purpose and life meaning, life satisfaction and tendencies intimate relationship?". Also, other purpose of the research, is determining whether there is significant differences or not between mean scores of Hinton PPMI, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Multidimensional Relationship Questionnaire and Meaning in Life Questionnaire according to various variable (gender, university, class level, birth order, income level, to be in a romantic relationship or not, experiences that reminds death or not) and their sub-dimensions and finding life meanings of university students. 1123 university students whose ages between 18-27, join the research from 7 region of Turkey. In the research, Hinton PPMI, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Multidimensional Relationship Questionnaire and Meaning in Life Questionnaire were used. According to all variable, it is concluded meaningful differences between mean scores of Hinton PPMI, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Multidimensional Relationship Questionnaire and Meaning in Life Questionnaire and their sub-dimensions and it was found significant correlations between all scales and their sub-dimensions. Lastly, it is demonstrated that university students have life meanings highest in turn; person-focused, emptiness-focused, emotion and relationship-focused, object-focused, life-focused, religion-focused, personality-focused, governance and judicial system-focused and meaning-focused in survey.
