Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to examine the moderation role of future time perspective in the relationship between university students' personal growth initiative and career engagement. The study grup of the research consist of 342 students studying at various departments at Çukurova University in the academic year of 2023-2024. Within the scope of the research, the data were obtained with the Personal Information Form, Personal Growth Initiative Scale II, Future Time Perspective Scale and Career Engagement Scale. In the analysis of the data, Pearson's correlation, t-Test for Independent Samples, Regression Analysis and Procress Macro method were used. According the research results, it was found that there were positive significant relationships between personal growth initiative, future time perspective and career engagement.The findings of the regression analysis concluded that the personal growth initiative and future time perspective have a significant predictive effect on career engagement. It was found that the moderating role of future time perspective in the relationship between personal growth initiative and career engagement of university students was not at a significant level. The results were discussed within the framework of the relevant literature and suggestions were provided.
