Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between eating attitudes, attachment styles and self-esteem of university students. Data obtained from measurement tools were tested using (IBM SPSS 26.0). In line with the findings of the research, a statistically significant positive relationship was detected between university students' eating attitudes and attachment styles. It was observed that there was a significant and positive relationship between eating attitudes and both the Experiences in Close Relationships scale and the avoidant attachment style, which is the sub-factor of this scale. However, although there is a relationship between anxious attachment style and eating attitudes, this is not statistically significant. It was found that there was a statistically significant negative relationship between university students' self-esteem and attachment styles. A significant and negative relationship was detected between self-esteem and both the Experiences in Close Relationships scale and the sub-factors of this scale, the avoidant attachment style and anxious attachment style. A statistically significant negative relationship was found between university students' eating attitudes and self-esteem.
