Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the effects of UV light source on the photonic properties of different serums were comprehensively investigated. The photonic properties of different serums were investigated with the help of spectroscopic measurements using a UV light source with wavelengths of 254, 365 and 400 nm. For this purpose, absorbance, transmittance, band gaps, refractive indices and sensitivity parameters of different serums were obtained. The refractive indices of different sera were then obtained from many junctions. Dispersion is a measure of the variation of refractive index with wavelength and can be explained by applying electromagnetic theory to the molecular structure of matter. Finally, the refractive index distribution characteristics of the respective sera were analyzed using the single oscillator model. Dispersion energy, single oscillator energy and optical oscillator power parameters of different serums were determined. Thus, the effects of UV light sources of different wavelengths on the refractive indices and dispersion properties of different serums were examined in detail. The results suggest that the optical behaviors of the sera provide significant insights into light-serum interactions and indicate potential applications in optoelectronic technologies.
