The effect of the training given i̇n the 4-6 age group Qur'an courses by age in accordance with the opinions of parents and instructors

This study was carried out in order to reveal the positive and negative aspects of the effects of 4, 5 and 6 year old children's education in the same educational environment in DIB's 4-6 Age Qur'an Courses. Semi-structured interview technique was used in the research. For the research, 12 teachers working in the 4-6 age group Qur'an courses affiliated to the Amasya Provincial Mufti and 12 parents whose children were educated in these courses were interviewed. The research was concluded by evaluating the data obtained. According to the findings obtained from the research, the majority of the teachers stated that they had difficulties due to the age difference in the Qur'an courses for the 4-6 age group. In addition, many teachers have expressed their views on providing education to children of different ages, taking into account their own developmental characteristics. While the majority of the parents participating in the research stated that the courses were given an education suitable for the developmental characteristics of the children, some parents stated that their children had difficulty in doing the activities given, in acquiring the gains in the program, and that they experienced a feeling of inadequacy as a result, and that the age difference could cause problems in friendship relations. There are also parents who think that children should be educated in separate classes according to their age.
