Abstract (EN)

Object: The etiology of ventricular extrasystole (VES) is not known exactly. The role of neuropeptide Y (NPY) in the formation of the VESs was investigated. Material and Methods: The study included 150 cases with VES with 24-hour rhythm holter result as the study group and 86 cases without it as the control group. The study group was divided into two subgroups, including those with more than 15 thousand and less VES. A detailed anamnesis was taken, and physical examinations, electrocardiographs (ECG) and echocardiograms were performed im all cases. Venous blood was drawn for biochemistry data and NPY level measurement in all cases. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. Results: Between both groups, diabetes mellitus (DM), diastolic blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), LDL, TG, WBC, creatine, Na, K, CRP, PLT, albumin, TSH, IVS, PWD, standard QRS, there was no difference in mean QRS (p>0.05 for all). However, there was a statistical difference in age, gender, smoking, LVEF, pulse, HDL, HGB, urea, NPY, total prisoners, LVED, SDNN, SDNNINDEX, RMSD, PN50, LF, HF, VLF, LF/HF readers (p <0.005 for all). In the study environment, the number of VES findings over 15 thousand was 48 (32%), and the number of VES findings less than 15 thousand was 102 (68%). In the correlation analysis, serum NPY level and number of VES (r=0.577 p=0.001), LF (r=0140, p=0.032), AGE (r=0.151, p=0.02), LVED (r=0.162, p) = 0.013)), LVES (r=0.290, p=0.001) was found to be positive. Similarly, negative correlation was observed between NPY and RMSSD (r=-0.162, p=0.012), SDNNINDEX (r=-0.136, p=0.037). In multivariate logistic regression analysis, NPY (odds ratio [OR]: 1.204; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.103-1.315; p=0.001) is predicted to be independent predictors of the VES manager. ROC curve analysis criterion for determining the best predictive cut-off value of NPY to ensure VES protection. NPY ≥ 78.91 VES predicted cost with 85.5% hostility (curve area: 0.948, 95% CI: 0.915-0.980, p = 0.001). Conclusion: The study showed that serum NPY level and VES test played a role and showed a close relationship with VES value. Keywords: Ventricular extra systole, arrhythmia, neuropeptide Y, etiology
