Productivity growth and its effects on growth: Analysis of Turkey by total factor productivity (1972-2007)

In this paper; explaining the concept of productivity, next i focused the issues of growth and TFV. Then i analysed the effects of technology embodied the capital stock, and the effects incorporated the labor (e.g. education, R&D, learning by doing and specialization) in the basis of TFV concept. And then i propound the effects of productivity growth for different main sectors. In the applied chapter, based on Neo-Classical Approach i constitute arithmetic and econometric calculating method to compute TFP for the general and main sectors of Turkey. Then i analysed which one main sector comes out the more effects of TFP for Turkey affecting the economic growth.
