Abstract (EN)

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) treatment; has recently become a very common form of treatment for intra-cranial target volume transmissions. Vestibular Schwannoma brain stem, cochlea and other cranial nerve close to the planning of treatment because of the difficulty is a difficulty. The positive contribution of SRS to local control has been demonstrated in many studies. In this study, 20 patients with Vestibular Schwannoma including 14 female and 6 male patients were evaluated for cochlear dose differences using the blocking properties of Masep Infini RGS therapy device with differences in volume and dose wrapping suitability. The study was conducted between September 2014 and February 2017 with 20 patients with vestibular schwannoma who were admitted to Gebze MedicalPark Hospital Radiation Oncology Clinic. Patient plan identification is performed and target PTV and critical organs are drawn by the brain surgeon in the ROI phase. Plans were compared by calculating Homogenity Index (HI) and Paddick Conformity Index (PCI), and the dose values of critical organs read from DVH. While the information obtained from studies shows that tumor control is achieved at the highest level, the planning technique protected by the cochlear implant is not fully understood. In our study, we found that the cohort was significantly lower than the group with the minimum, maximum, and average doses of the cochlea in the blocked group.
