Having used the advantageous disunion and the political vacuum, their weakness in terms of a devoloping Russia, the Ottoman-Safavid struggle on the Caucasus and Iran, on the Crimean territory, entity fray of the Venetians and Genovians with khans, and the political disorder, caused to the failure of the merchantile enterprises.
