The law of Occupational Health and Safety which has been operated on 20.06.2012, changedall conditions of work life so innovativly. Private sectors and public sectors of employement keep working in the light of epistemology that has been created by this law. Purposes of this practice are protecting the health of laborsand getting the maximum revenue from the operation. The basic target of Ocupational Health and Safety is eliminating all the threats of labor health and safety, if not possible, minimizing all the resultants of that kind of threats. The most effective way of reaching this target is, using true personal protective equipments due to the type of operation. For example; in the operation of the extinguishing employers need to be equipped with unflamable and heat proof clothes, on the other hand, in a kind of search and resque operation, employers need to be equipped with the clothes that they can give easy movement themselves. General mentality of the community accepts the fire department as a just fire fighters. But the modern duty of fire department is much more larger. Even, almost there is no operation which is out of the interest of fire department. The fundamental duties of fire department are behind of saving people, intervention to the car accidents, search and resque operations in the disasters such as earthquake and flood, discharging waters from the living areas in floods, search and resque operations under water and above water, search and resque operations in the dentand informing the community and the people about natural disasters and taking precautions for the harms of chemical substances also. Every year natural disasters and fires cause very big amount of human deaths and economic losses. Amount of firemen deaths and losses of limbs or organs aren't small at all, during the intervention to the natural or unnatural disasters. That's why choosing right personel protection equipments should be done due to the type of operation carefully also shouldn't be an easy work. Nowadays, the personal protection equipments whis are used now, are actually beter than the older ones. But stil there are so many risk factors about them. Moreover, according to the 6331 numbered regulation of labor safety in the constitution, works of the employers who are stepping in to the emergency situations and disasters were become out of this regulation.
