Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the effects of different doses of foliar kaolin particle film applications on mineral nutrition, fruit cracking and yield of the Hicaznar cultivar pomegranate plant were investigated. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the application of kaolin did not have a statistically significant effect on the plant nutrient concentrations of the pomegranate leaves, except Cu. Kaolin application was decreased the pomegranate leaf Cu concentration compared to the control. The N, P, K, Ca and Mg concentrations of the leaves as mean were 1.64%, 0.13, 1.23, 2.32 and 0.49, respectively; Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu concentrations were determined as 152.2, 11.8, 49.6 and 11.0 mg kg-1, respectively. Foliar kaolin application did not have a significant effect on the yield and crack fruit ratio of pomegranate was found compared to the control. The results suggest that foliar kaolin application could be used to decrease pomegranate fruit cracking, which is an important physiological disorder in pomegranate production, without negatively impacting on fruit yield and mineral nutrition of Hicaznar pomegranate and that is necessary.more studies with different pomegranate cultivars in this subject.
