Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to determine and interprest the views and expectotions of elderly people living in Bolu. This study is the first study on behalf of old age and nursing home in Bolu province. Within the scape of the research, in-depth interviews were conducted with a total of 20 elderly people, 10 females and 10 males, aged 65 years and over, living in the city center of Bolu. During the study, one of the qualitative data collection techniques, which is the scope of the research, was used as an interview technique. The questions in the interview form about the view and expectations of elderly people living in the city center of Bolu are included. Interview form questions were created by the researchers in the light of relevant literature. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the age, gender, income, marital status, education level, nursing homes perspectives, views and expectations of the elderly individuals interviewed. Elderly people spend their free time in nursing home; handicrafts, resding boks, sports activities, television watching, religious activities and activities such as mowing the land were determined to want to spend.
