Abstract (EN)

This research has been done to determine whether there is a relationship betwen the job satisfaction and fatigue levels of teachers and administrators working at boarding primary and secondary schools. Intended for this purpose, a survey consisting ofthree sections was arrenged. This survey was carried out to 146 teachers and administrators working at boarding primary and secondary schools. In the first section,19 questions to determine the demographic chararecteristics and vacational skills;20th questions to reflect their problems and suggestions were asked subjectively. In the second section, the fatigue levels of teachers and administrators working at boarding primary and secondary schools were tried to be identified being used Maslach Fatigue Scale. The fatigue in the scale was evaluated in 3 formats; emotional fatigue, insensitivity and self- success And in the last section, being used Minnesota Scale of Work Satisfaction, the work satisfaction levels of teachers and administrators working at boarding primary and secondary schools were tried to be identified as internally, externally and generally.The results gained from the survey were submitted in the forms of charts being analysed on the programme SPSS for Windows 13.After the survey; it has been discovered that there is a significant difference between the emotional fatigue levels of the teachers and administrators working at boarding primary and secondary schools and their type of sex, chosing the profession willingly, choosing the teaching again, boarding house duty, the most preferred area, environment and place satisfaction levels, insensitivity levels, and his/her working years at his/her school; self-success levels and age, marital status, teaching seniority, managing seniority, the school type worked with iner satisfaction, the school type worked with external satisfaction, willing to work at a boarding school, wanting to work at a boarding school again, general satisfaction levels, and the type of school. In addition, ıt has been determined that there is a connection between sub-dimension scores of fatigue scales and sub-dimension and satisfaction scores of work satisfaction in the negative direction.With the results o the researches, some suggestions have been made. It has been expected that, this research would enlighten and contribute to the studies done for this field.Key Words: Job Satisfaction, Exhaustion, Boarding Schools
