Examination of joints in new floor coating materials sports hall sampling

There are a lot of problems nowadays in the floor covering materials of gyms. In particular, the problems experienced at the joints of the coating materials are important. Nowadays, because of the abundance of functions, one of the most commonly used types of flooring is complex sports structures..The floorcovering materials in sports complex buildings are constantly updated and renewed. Each new material and detail brings a new problem. This study was carried out to find solutions to the problems of these junction zones that emerged with the new coating materials. The floor covering materials in the sports complex structures were evaluated in terms of physical and technical features, joint details and deterioration reasons. Detailed drawings of floor covering materials have been made and the details of this combination are supported by three-dimensional narratives and solutions are presented for possible problems. It is stated that the material damages are caused by taking into account the general characteristics of the floor covering materials, interconnecting elements and underlay adhesive materials.
