Abstract (EN)
In today's world, while the results of scientific and technological developments make people's lives easier, it has become difficult to reach accurate and precise information due to the intensity of information. The design of the information has become very important in order to understand the data, which has become an increasing information stack day by day, as a result of the complexity it creates. The visual design of data and information aims not only to perceive information easily but also to transfer complex information in a concise, simple and memorable way. Data visualizations and infographics are interdisciplinary in terms of functioning process and find a place in many areas including education, health, science, physics, economics, advertising activities and in-company presentations. It is accepted that today's communication takes place more and more through screens due to the demands of the digital age we are in. The digital-based communication age, which is called new media, has played an important role in human life in recent years and transformed communication. Messages and information intended to be delivered to individuals in the society through traditional (printed) media in the past have left their place to digital media in order to reach more masses in a short time, for reasons such as saving from printing costs and time. The rapid development of technology has led to the development of graphic design programs and to gradually expand their range. Accordingly, many developments and changes have occurred in graphic design. The most obvious of these changes is the addition of motion, sound and time-based concepts. The information design in new media environments; the design process of information, which has modernized with the development of design programs, in parallel with the emergence of the computer and the rapid advancement of technology, continues its evolution rapidly. Accordingly, it has been determined that the increasing number of infographic designs are informational convergence in themselves with data visualizations; firstly, it will be conceptually investigated and the relationship between these two will be examined. Infographic designs that are examined conceptually will be evaluated within the framework of the design elements used, and generally observed problems such as not determining the source of information in infographic designs and design problems will be examined in terms of subject with the examples given. In this context, the importance, development, evolution of information design, the features of concepts such as motion, time, sound, and fiction accompanying the design, together with the design techniques and methods used in animated infographic designs published in digital media today, will be investigatged with examples and the results obtained will be analyzed. Keywords: New Media, Data Visualization, Infographic, Animated Infographic, Graphic Design.
