Renewable energy systems

The concept of energy is becoming more important in today's world in terms of the power balance of countries. The concept of energy supply security is one of the country's policies that are frequently talked about and need to develop a strategy. The world's main energy source is fossil fuels, and it is obvious that fossil fuels will be the most important source until the near future. However, with the pursuit of countries, the development of technology and the efforts of human beings, many advances and developments have been made in the use of renewable energy. This progress is the result of the oil crisis in the world in the 1980s and the search for new alternatives. Countries have started to invest more and more in using renewable (continuous) resources, which are characterized as endless, and increasing their cost-benefit ratios by working on them. In this context, the concept of energy is explained in the first part of the study. In the second part of the study, renewable energy sources are included and the concept of renewable energy in Turkey and in the world is discussed. In the last part of the study, the solar energy potential in Turkey was examined.
