Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to examine the relationship between perceived parental attitude and psychological resilience levels in adult individuals. For this purpose, the research was carried out using the relational type survey method. The study group of the research consists of 402 adult individuals between the ages of 18-65. 'Demographic Information Form', 'Parental Attitude Scale (ETS)' and 'Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults (YPSS)' were used to collect research data. SPSS 28 program was used to analyze the data obtained. When the research findings are examined, there is a positive relationship between the total and sub-dimensions of psychological resilience and the emotional warmth of the mother and father; A negative significant relationship was found between maternal overprotectiveness, maternal rejectionism, paternal overprotectiveness and paternal rejectionism. As a result, as participants perceive their parents' attitudes as emotionally warm, their psychological resilience levels increase, and as they perceive their parents' attitudes as overprotective and rejecting, their psychological resilience levels decrease.
