Abstract (EN)

This research aims to investigate the relationship between the digital game addiction levels, procrastination, and emotion regulation skills of individuals within the age range of 19-29 years old. The sample for the study consists of 264 adults living in Turkey within this age range. Employing quantitative research methods, the study utilizes a correlational research model. To gather data for the research objective, the study employs four data collection tools: "Demographic Information Form", "Digital Game Addiction Scale for Adults", "General Procrastination Scale" and "Emotion Regulation Skills Questionnaire". Data analysis is conducted using the SPSS-24 software. The Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficients for the scales employed exceed 0.85. The study's findings indicate a significant association between individuals' general procrastination levels, emotion regulation skills and the digital game addiction. The relationship between these variables and certain demographic information (such as age, gender, etc.) is examined. It is concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between digital game addiction and variables like gender, age, and educational level; and also, there is a significant positive relationship between emotion regulation skills and variables like age and marital status. No significant relationship is found between general procrastination and demographic information. Key Words: Digital game addiction, procrastination, emotion regulation
