Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out as a descriptive to determine the healthy lifestyle behaviors of intensive care nurses and the factors affecting these behaviors. The research was conducted between June and September 2021 by collecting data by online survey using snowball sampling method for intensive care nurses working in hospitals. 222 nurses who volunteered to participate in the study were included in the research. The data of the study were collected "sociodemographic data form" and "healthy lifestyle behaviors scale". The Mann Whitney -U test has been used to compare quantitative continuous data between two independent groups, and the Kruskal Wallis test has been used to compare data between two independent groups. The mean score of the healthy lifestyle behaviors scale of intensive care nurses found to be 127,32±24,42 - moderate. Considering the subdimensions of the scale, the highest mean score was 23,66±4,96 for the health responsibilty and the lowest mean score was 16,89±5,9 for the physical activity subdimension. The average score of intensive care nurses on the scale was statistically significant with age and working time (p<0,05). According to this, the total score of the 25-31 age group is lower than the total score of the 32-38 age group. Also, it has been determined that nurses with 11-15 years of working time have higher health responsibility than nurses with 6-10 years of experience. As a result of this research mean score of the healthy lifestyle behaviors scale of nurses were moderate. Key Words: Nurse, Intensive care unit, Healthy lifestyle behaviors
