Abstract (EN)

Executive nurses are important are in the success of health institutions. The performance of executive nurses affects the quality of patient care. For this reason the working environment and job satisfaction of nurse managers are important factors. This research was carried out with 201 nurse managers as a descriptor- relationship seeker in order to determine the relationship between the perceptions of nurse managers about the working environment and their job satisfaction. The research date were obtained by using the personal information form the manager nurse work environment scale and the Minnesota job satisfaction scale. Looking at the research findings; from the manager nurse work environment scale patient safety scores average 4,86± 0,60 average corporate culture scores 4,93± 0,67 financial resources 3,81 ± 1,01 productivity 4,90±0,61 workload 4,62±0,85 manager nurse manager relations 4,96±0,73 manager nurse doctor relationship 5,04 ±0,69 manager nurse unit personal relationship 5,42± 0,57 manager nurse working environment 4,83±0,53 detected. The data related to job satisfaction was determined as 3,80±0,56 for the internal satisfaction factor 3,43±0,63 for the external satisfaction factor and 3,65± 0,55 for the minnesota satisfaction scale overall score. It was established on the effect of the sub-dimension scores of the manager nurse work environment scale on the job satisfaction scores was found to be statistically significant. It is seen that the variables (financial resources, productivity, workload, manager nurse manager relations) found significant in the established model explain %49,8 of the change in job satisfaction scores (R2:0,498). According to the results obtained from the research manager nurses evaluation of the working environment is positive and their job satisfaction is moderate.
