The factors that the managers are affected whi̇le maki̇ng deci̇si̇ons about school

This study was performed in order to determine the factors by which the administrators who work at formal and private elementary and secondary schools that are located in the city of Izmir are influenced while they are making decisions. The sample of this research was applied to the 250 teachers of elementary and secondary schools who work at totally 8 elementary and secondary schools in the city of Izmir in 2013-2014 educational year and the data were collected.In the research, the questionnaire called "The factors by which the administrators are influenced while making decisions related to school" that was formed by the researcher was used in order to collect data. With the purpose to determine the factors by which the administrators are influenced while they are making decisions about school, the frequencies and per cent (%) values belonging to the independent parameters in the questionnaire were determined. It was tested whether the results which were obtained by using the questionnaire differentiated significantly or not depending both on the the parameters of sexes, ages and educational levels of the teachers who contributed to the research and the ones of the type of the schools where they work and the duration of working at school.As a result of these differentiation tests which were carried out, while a statistically significant differentiation (p<05) was found between the subgroups belonging to some demographical parameters, a statistically significant differentiation was not found in part of them. With the purpose to determine the factors by which the administrators are influenced while making decisions about school, the data were interpreted by carrying out t-test, Anova (Oneway variance analysis) and Scheffe Tamhane's test in order to show the results that were made. While a significant relation was found between some subdimensions as a result of the analysis, a significant difference was not found in part of them. The findings were detected and the results were reached through the analyses which were carried out. The findings that were obtained were discussed about and the suggestions which will considerably contribute to that field were made.
