Abstract (EN)
In this study, particle reinforced composite materials for high temperature applications were produced and characterized. The aim of the present study was development of polymer matrix composites for aviation applications. Epoxy was used as a thermoset based polymer matrix material. Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) was used as a thermoplastic based matrix material. In addition, polylacticacid (PLA) was used as a natural based thermoplastic matrix material. Carbon nanotube and graphene were used as a particle reinforcement. Thermoset polymer (epoxy) based composites were produced by hand lay-out method. Thermoplastic (PEEK, PLA) matrix composites were produced by powder pressing-sintering and powder hot-pressing methods. Mechanical properties and microstructure of the polymer matrix composites were investigated. Strength, hardness, elastic modulus, energy absorbtion capacity properties of the composites were determined. In addition, elastic properties and glass transition temperatures of the polymer matrix composites were determined by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) method. High-temperature resistance and glass transition temperature properties of the composites were also investigated by differantial scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis. Theorical and experimental mechanical properties were compared. Metin girmek için buraya tıklayın veya dokunun.
