Yunus Emre's Divan –Halet Efendi copy of Yunus Emre's Divan (Introduction–analysis–text–index)

This study, which focuses on the Halet Efendi manuscript of Yunus Emre's Divan, consists of four main sections: introduction, analysis, text, and glossary. The manuscript, preserved in theHalet Efendi Library, stands out with its transcription features and linguistic structure. In the introduction section, general information is provided about Yunus Emre's life, literary identity, and works; furthermore, the physical characteristics, type of script, and date of transcription of the examined manuscript are discussed. In the analysis section, the linguistic and orthographic characteristics of the text are examined. Phonetic phenomena reflecting the typical features of Old Anatolian Turkish—such as vowel and consonant changes, examples of compound writing, and orthographic variations—have been identified and evaluated. Through this analysis, it has been aimed to determine to what extent the manuscript preserves the linguistic characteristics of its historical period. In the text section, the transcription of the Halet Efendi manuscript has been completed, ensuring a faithful transfer of the original text. In the glossary section, the words found in the text are presented together with their meanings, thereby shedding light on the vocabulary and linguistic world of Yunus Emre. The study concludes with a bibliography containing the sources utilized throughout the research.
