Abstract (EN)

The second century of Hijri, which is the period when hadiths began to be collected and classified, has an important place in the history of hadith and hadith literature. Many scholars were trained in this period and some of them contributed to the classification and narration of hadiths. Zaide b. Qudamah, one of the important hadith narrators of the Etbāʾu't-tābiîn period, had the opportunity to meet with the famous muhaddithis of Kufa and thus took his place in the history of hadith as one of the important figures of his period in the transmission of hadith to the next generations. In this study, Za'idah's life, his personality as a hadith scholar, and his place in the history of hadith are examined. His Sunan, which can be mentioned among the first musannaf works, was constructed by bringing together his narrations from various hadith sources, and it was tried to determine through which channels the narration information reached the next generation. Information is given about his teachers who constituted his source of knowledge and his students who transmitted his narration knowledge to the next generations.
