Abstract (EN)
Philosophy of mind issues and problems are a field of philosophy that have been discussed and sought solutions since the beginning of the history of philosophy. It is not correct to say that the common view that this field started with the 17th century philosopher Descartes is acceptable in all aspects. Philosophy of mind existed before Descartes, and the problems of this field have been investigated by many philosophers, and answers have been sought for questions. However, we can say that with Descartes, the philosophy of mind was focused more and the studies in this field accelerated. In particular, the "mind-body problem", which is included in the philosophy of mind, is one of the most important discussion topics in the field. There are various answers to this problem and approaches created in line with the answers. One of these approaches, which the philosophical tradition has adopted for a long time and which various religious circles consider reasonable, is dualism. Dualism is a very important and popular approach in terms of philosophy, and even more specifically, philosophy of mind. In this study, dualism, which is an answer to the mind-body problem, will be discussed.
