The salname of Zümrüd ü Anka

The first salname relate to Ottoman's history, order, biography and geography is published by Ahmet Vefik Efendi contribute of Hayrullah and Ahmet Cevdet Efendi and the order of Sadrazam Büyük Reşit Pasha in 1263 (1847). Then the salnames have grew up and have became the thousand pages pieces in terms of either the page number or size. After 1888, all official datas in the gowernment officies collected and started to order by Sicil-i Ahval-i Memurin Office. The Salnames which is published the period of II. Albulhamid are the most excellent. There were Nezaret and Vilayet Salnames rather than this state salnames. Also The 17 volumes of Salname-i Askeri which is published by Seraskerlik, 4 volumes of Salname-i Nezaret-i Hariciyye, 17 volumes of Salname-i Bahri, the salname of Maarif Nezareti, the salnames of the ministry of trade, public work, finance and İlmiye Salnames which is prepared by committee in 1916 are important. There are a number of special salnames rahter than these salnames and first of all is the "Türkiye Salnamesi" which is published by Ali Suavi in 1871 and Salname-i Ebü'z-Ziya which is published Ebü'z-Ziya Tevfik Bey. The "Zümrüd ü Anka Salnamesi" that it make up issue of this work is one of these too. The Zümrüd ü Anka are published by Semih Lütfi Erciyaş (or Erciyes) in 1924, just a one time.
