Yabancılara Arapça sözcük öğretimi stratejileri uygulamalı ve analitik bir araştırma - An applied and analytical study of strategies for teaching arabic vocabulary to non Arabic speakers

This research falls in the general framework under the applied linguistics and, utilizing what it reached in teaching Arabic vocabulary to speakers of other languages This study aimed to uncover the strategies used by teachers of the Arabic language as a foreign language in teaching vocabulary and their opinions on some of these strategies. The choice of this subject stemmed from the importance of the word, its study, and teaching in the teaching of foreign languages and its role in developing the linguistic level of learners. We divided the research as follows: Introduction: It contained a summary of the research with its translation, then an introduction which contained the importance of the research and its problem in addition to the methodology it adopted and the previous studies it relied on. The first section: In it, we dealt with the position of vocabulary and its importance in teaching second languages, and we also discussed the status of vocabulary in methods of teaching foreign languages, and its position in linguistic theorizing, semantic linguistics, psychological linguistics, textual linguistics, and others. Section Two: In this section of the research we moved from theory to practice, and presented the differences and similarities between the acquisition of vocabulary in the mother tongue and the second language, we also dealt in this section with learning strategies in general and strategies for learning vocabulary in particular, and we also dealt in detail with methods and strategies for teaching vocabulary. Section Three: In this applied section, we conducted a questionnaire to study the opinions of Arabic teachers for speakers of other languages about vocabulary teaching strategies and their suitability for the linguistic levels of learners, in addition to revealing their beliefs related to some of these strategies. Section Four: In this section, we have presented the findings of the research, along with some recommendations.
