Abstract (EN)

Ahkâm-ı Şikâyet Books were prepared to resolve the daily complaints and troubles of the people and to ensure that justice is established sooner or later. While all these yearly complaints were recorded in Mühimme Books, which is another book series, as the complaints grew, separate book series were developed for the specialization sections of the detailed bureaucracy, Ahkâm-ı Şikâyet Books were created and the complaints were added to these books. These influential Sivas Province Ahkâm-ı Şikâyet Registers were used as a source. There are 36 notebooks belonging to the province, and there are daily complaints to the Amasya District in 1-3 registered notebooks of these notebooks, covering the years 1742-1749. A total of four hundred complaints were identified, and today's consolidated list has been published, along with translations, summary tables of the complaints have been created and the complaints have been classified according to their subjects. These complaints; Problems experienced in foundations, banditry, assault-extortion, debt-credit relations, inheritance division, etc. Whether registered or not, the complaints of Amasya residents were evaluated over a seven-year period.
