Özet (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the effects of basic judo training on 11-15 year old children on dynamic and static balance. A total of 50 students, aged 11-15 years, were randomly selected for the study, including a basic judo training group (25 males, 11.42 ± 0.50 yrs) and a control group (25 males, 13.62 ± 1.02 yrs). The basic judo training training group has been practicing judo training for 3 weeks and 90 minutes per week for 8 weeks. For the control group, no physical activity was applied. Pre-test and post-test measurements for the experimental and control groups were made statistically. Test measurements were made before and after starting the basic judo training exercises to be done by balancing, flexibility, vertical jump, body fat measurement, hand grip strength from Judo branch motoric properties and then physical performance was tried to be revealed. The obtained data were evaluated at p <0.05 level. Statistical significance (P <0.05) was found in the experimental group when right and left hand grip strength, vertical jump, long jump, flexibility, flamingo balance and Y balance test mean values were compared. However, no statistically significant difference was found when the mean values of body fat measurement tests were compared (p> 0.05). There was no difference in control group (p> 0.05). As a result, the training in basic judo training in the experimental group has positive effects on balance systems in children aged 11-15, contributing to sporting success.
