Usage of social media among the children aged 12-18: Example of Elazığ

The internet is an indispensable part of human life that most of the people in all ages could seen as social media users.People use systematically one or a few social media accaount. The fact that people interested in social media strongly, it appears commonly subject of socialogical studies recently. With random sample used in this study, made a survey 349 student about their social media using. These students are 12-18 age range and they gose to Mustafa Kemal Elementary School and Mehmet Akif High School in Elazığ. Looked for literatura to understand what is social media and what is its contain. General theorical knowledge was given.From result of survey appear to age, gender, family and economic situations affects social media uses significantly. This study bring to light students use social media intensively. All students who is use social media, buil new behavior and impressions.In conclusion, parent and teacher guidance be helpfully was opinion.
