Abstract (EN)
Universities are the places where young people, who are the most impor-tant elements of the future of countries, prepare themselves for life and direct their lives. Universities have an impact on every aspect of life in terms of scien-ce, art and technology and they also contribute to the formation of the world of ideas of young studying people. Student events have always happened during the history of education. However, it has an important place in the history of the emergence of democracy in the Republic of Turkey disrupt the September 12, 1980 to March 12, 1971 Memorandum of events that occur before the military coup cadetbarracks. The demonstrations that started with the boycott of the courses at universi-ties before the 12 March Memorandum and the September 12 Military Coup, and the ideological separation between the students turned into acts of violence, as well as acts of armed and bomb, caused anarchy and terrorism to increase in the country. In addition, the social turmoil triggered by the political and economic crises caused the formation of sectarian conflicts and actions that amounted to massacre, with the effect of dark power centers inside and outside. When you look at the historical process, the Memorandum of March 12, 1971 and the Military Coup of 12 September 1980, which followed a similar course, show that we can not learn from the events we have experienced as a so-ciety, but instead of meeting our common benefit, were sort to violence by alie-nating the other person in order to accept our own right. Our aim in this study, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's hope that the state and in order to provide for the use of the country's future development and to entrust they synergy to create more awareness. The study consists of three parts. In the first chapter, with the introduction part, conceptual definitions and student events in the Ottoman Period are menti-oned. In the second part, as students move occurred after the proclamation of the Republic in Turkey as multi-party life transition and Turkey right-left's deve-lopment process ideology in this period, which is effective left-right ideological groups and structures explained. In the third part, the student movements that took place before the military coup of May 27, 1960, the memorandum of March 12, 1971 and the student incidents before the military coup of September 12, 1980 are discussed historically. In the conclusion part, the subject examined in detail in the text was evaluated in general terms.
