Abstract (EN)
Şer'iyye Registers, also known as kadı registers, are the books kept by the appointed judges in the Ottoman Empire. These documents were kept in the judicial, economic, social, health, cultural, administrative, etc. period. are primary sources that shed light on the issues. For this reason, it will enlighten the research of people who examine the judicial, administrative, economic, social, health and cultural issues of cities or regions in the Ottoman Empire to examine the city's sharia registry. The transcript of the 1-104 page range of the Gaziantep Sharia Registry No. 12, covering the Hijri 1027-1028 / Gregorian 1618-1619, was summarized and evaluated according to the subjects. This study will make important contributions to the enlightenment of Gaziantep city history, and later to other researchers working on city history. Keywords: Gaziantep, Court Registry, Kadı, Court
