Özet (EN)

This has been made to update the 120 mm mortar, which has an important role in the defense industry. Inorderforthe 120 mm mortartohitits target, the screw on it is aimed at the target by giving there quiredangle. As the target takes a lot of time from this list, it wastargeted by Aselsan for the hydraulicmechanisms that angle the system by removing the screw threads instead of the angle mechanically so that the new high mortar can be adjusted in the shortest time andeasier. In this way, it is aimed to transform the mortarinto a system that can rotate 360 Cand can be adjusted to the desired angle. For these reasons, Aselsan has started a study on there moval of screw gears on the 120 mm mortarand within the scope of the SAYP project, this is the foundation as a master's degree. This study has been carried out in two stages. First, all the regressions of the currently used 120mm mortar with screw, which affect the firing application, were examined by Ansys finite element method. Secondly, for the condition of the screw gears after their removal on the pestle, the same stresses were applied to Ansys and all the results obtained were compared between the two mortars and with all the data obtained, it was examined whether it was safetore move the screw gears.
