This Project includes the title of analysis of mentality and it?s using in education period in 17th century.In our literature, it has been given a lot of examples from 11th century to 19 th century for types of Eulogy which has been divan literature?s poetry. Even ıf, 17th century?s eulogycist has a special place because of it `s general panorama. As though 17th century has differences from former centuries, the type of eulogy which has found a shape in this century, is different from the former centuries. 17th century eulogies expose the mentality of the century sufficiently.In our research, mentality components which dominates the century have been collected by dividing into classification. During the research, our real object is to be able to determine what kind of mentality words and expressions reflects to this eulogies after reading them in divans. For this reason, the century?s ottoman was analysed in detail from different sources and art world and real world were compared. Each mentality components which has been determined, has been discussed under a strong base light.All along, Eulogy has been discussed in a classical understanding frame and only utilized as a praise type. However an important point has been overlooked: Eulogies are also an art work and it can form different effects on each century?s art works. 17th century eulogies as being an art work have a lot of original qualites and they include the century?s important projections. This work is a result of establishing this projections. Using of each product which has been determined is very important in education.Key words: 17th century, Eulogy, Mentality, Education.
