Özet (EN)

In research studying the economic relations of Turkey and Syria between 1918-1946, it is basically studied on the policies carried out by mandate management ofter Syria, under the protection of France, the economic structure at this point and its commercial extent and componet of Turkey. In this way, it firstly was analyzed the effects of the economical policies applied on commercial relations, Syria economy during the reign of French mandate ant general view of Turkish economy ın addition to this, Hatay trouble, even keeping its important today between Turkey and Syria was studied at that time.Secondly, the commercial extent between Turkey and Syria between 1926-1942, the relative significance of this commersial trend for Turkey and the variations of the commercial activites have been examined. For this purpose, the sutructural analysis of commercial relations was made with the rate and avarage of the commodities in trade in that term.At the result of our survey, although the commercial relations between Turkey adn Syria have some advantages owing to common historical and cultural ties and given the arising from, it is not the level expected. Small quantities of agricultural raw materials, including a large proportion of trade inindustrial products, we undertake, in accordance with the conjuncture of the two countries has decreased the overall trade between the late '30s.Key words: Turkey economy, Syria economy, French Mandate, commerce relations between Turkey and Syria.
