Abstract (EN)

This study has been done for the purpose of comparing teacher ideas and their idea levels about Literature and Literature Textbooks prepared based on Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculums (1992 and 2005) in terms of demographic variables.Researcher used a holistic approach for this study. This approach has been included quantitive and qualitive descriptive research methods. The population of this research is Turkish Language and Literature teachers who works in Ankara (Altındağ, Çankara, Etimesgut, Gölbaşı, Keçiören, Mamak, Pursaklar, Sincan, Yenimahalle-central distincts of Ankara city) during 2010-2011 academic year.400 Turkish Language and Literature Teaching teachers are sample group of this quantitive research. Also, 75 Turkish Language and Literature Teaching teacher put together participants of research.Quantitive datas that based on research obtained from Teacher Survey developed by researcher. This Survey included some datas about Literature and Turkish Literature textbooks prepared based on Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum (1992 and 2005) published by Ministry of National Education. Survey is composed by 4 parts. Firstly, researcher ask for personel datas to teachers via Survey. Survey was occured 64 items about ?Content?, ?Language and Expression?, ?Preparation and Evaluation?, ?Physical Construction-Visual Composition-Design?. Also, Teacher Interview Form about Literature and Turkish Literature textbooks prepared based on Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum (1992 and 2005) published by Ministry of National Education was constituted by researcher.On the axis of aim of the study and the main problem of statistical analysis of quantitative data collected for the problems created under the sub-analysis of results obtained for the 0.05 significance level are interpreted. To analyse datas about research SPSS 20.0 package program was used. To analyse qualitative datas content analysis was used.In this study, for matches them against the normal distribution of data with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test were examined. With a normal distribution, where the items on the Independent Sample t-test for comparison of two groups, more than two groups were compared one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) were used. If the result of analysis of variance between groups which are found no statistically significant difference between groups is found to be different for the multiple comparisons (multiple comparisons) tests, Tukey's test was used. Levene's test for comparison of groups with the assumption of homogeneity of variance tests were examined and the test statistic which will be taken into consideration it was decided.It was determined that teachers? textbooks assesments in terms of content, language and expression, physical construction, visual composition and projection different from each other according to their ideas about their own academic sufficiency about Turkish Language and Literature Teaching, their imperfect knowledge about their disciplines, their participating request to inservice training about their disciplines, their academic sufficiency based on Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum (1992 and 2005).Also, according to research, it is possible to say that teachers? textbooks assesments in terms of content, language and expression, physical construction, visual composition and projection different from each other according to gender, their academic sufficiency about their discipline, participating a course, seminar, activities about Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum 1992 and 2005, intended use of Turkish Literature textbooks.It can be possible to say that teachers? awareness about differences between new and old Literature Textbooks in terms of content, language and expression, the evaluations of the physical structure-the visual composition and design different from each other according to gender, participating of any course, seminar, etc. about Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum 1992 and 2005. Teachers who attended an event about Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum (2005) see it more positively. Datas about language and expression, preparation and assesments different from each other in terms of participating request to inservice training. Also, self-sufficient teachers about Turkish Language and Literature Teaching Curriculum (2005) stated their opinion positively about new textbooks in terms of physical structure-the visual composition and design.
