Abstract (EN)

Heterocyclic compounds are one of the important topics in organic chemistry. These compounds are frequently encountered in nature and also in many drugs that are used nowadays. The compounds containing heterocylic skeleton are utilized in various field of life. Thiophene structure can be found in certain natural products and is also incorporated in several pharmacologically active compounds. Furthermore, thiophene derivatives found important application in material science in recent years. Aim of this work was the synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted thiophene derivatives using a new synthetic methodology. First of all, alkynone derivatives were synthesized from the readily available acyl chlorides. Then, these compounds were treated with 2,5-dihyroxy-1,4-dithiane in DMF to give the new 2,3-disubstituted thiophene derivatives. With this study, novel thiophene derivatives substituted by thiophene, furan, and pyrrole rings were synthesized successfully.
