Transcription and evaluation of Ayntab Judicial Record numbered 20 (bc 1060–10611 / dc 1650–1651)

The Judıcıal records of the Ottoman Empire Şer'iyye Records, town history and local issues of life science research, as well as being the main source, the source will be able to date on everything nature. Şer'iyye record of the Ottoman Empire, contain valuable information about military, legal, economic, religious and administrative institutions. Only the history of the land is not located within the borders of Turkey, which is separated from the Ottoman Empire and Turkey today about the history of the land outside the boundaries of these documents has a great significance. Staring from the historical importance of Şer'iyye court records with the idea of revealing our cultural values in particular to contribute to local history studies, this study has been produced. Covering the years of H.1060-1061 (M. 1650-1651) numbered 20 Ayntab Şer'iyye Court Records consists of a total of 270 pages. In this study,389 court records which consist the first half of Ayntab Şer'iyye Court Records numbered 20. In addition, after giving a brief history of Ayntab, with the aim to make work more understandable Ottoman legal system, officials in the Ottoman court, the Court Registers document types and are given general information about the Court Registers. Investigation on the record, documents belonging to guardianship, inheritance, debt, divorce, barter, diet, peace, power of attorney, trust, theft, assault, property shopping have been determined. In this direction, the socio-economic, legal, judicial and so on status of Ayntab city have been illustrated. Therefore, by this study in the year of H. 1060–1061 M. 1650-1651, you can get important information about socio-economic, cultural, legal, judicial and so on history of Ayntab.
