Turkey-pakistan relations between the years 2000-2020

Turkey and Pakistan have developed cooperation in many fields as they define each other as sister countries based on historical ties. Although there are so many relations between the two countries, it is seen that the studies in this field in the field of international relations are limited. In order to contribute to the studies on the emergence and determination of the relations between the two countries, this subject has been determined in order to deal with the relations between the parties in the 21st century (2000-2020) from various aspects. Before writing the thesis, a literature review was conducted by searching master's and doctoral theses, articles, books and journals, which were written academically both in Pakistan and Turkey and in the field of bilateral relations. Apart from these, internet resources and newspaper news were also examined. In this study, which was made according to the findings obtained after the source review, after the historical development of Pakistan was given in one part, in the second part, post-independence Pakistan was tried to be introduced. In the third chapter, how the relations between Turkey and Pakistan have been shaped in the last twenty years and how they continue today, political, diplomatic, military, economic and cultural relations are tried to be discussed in depth. I am of the opinion that our research is important in terms of historically recognizing the geography of Pakistan and especially in terms of understanding the bilateral relations well in the last period, since the relations between the two countries affect the regional politics and direct some issues.
