Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the changes in the 2005 social studies curriculum used in the curricula of the 5th, 6th and 7th grades and the changes in the 2017 social studies curriculum in various fields such as draft, vision, basic approaches and basic elements. The aim of the course is to reveal these changes in both programs through teacher views. This study is a qualitative research. Interview and document analysis method were used as data collection tool. 2005 social studies curriculum and 2017 social studies curriculum program were discussed and document analysis was done. In the 2017-2018 academic year, information was gathered by interviewing social studies teachers working in Burdur. According to the results of the study, it was determined that the 2017 social studies curriculum draft was more simplified, the number of gains decreased but long sentences were used to express the gains, and no changes were made to the assessment methods.
