Examining the relationship between organizational health and organizational commitment according to the views of academic personnel working in some of the universities built in 2007

In modern management perceptive; human resources are the most important and indispensable capital of the organizations. Successful organizations care about choosing and trying not to lose this capital. Because staightening the productivity depends on human resources' having a commitment to the organization. When we search for the subjcet in management litarature, we see that organizational commitment is used in two meanings; first, employees continue to work in their organization and second they serve better in a sense of belonging to their organization. In this study, organizational health and personnels' organizational commitment which are important variables for the organizations have been examined. In the study, Wayne Hoy's Organizational Health Inventory (OHI) that consists of 44 questions has been used to measure organizational health. Allen and Meyer's Scale with 18 questions has been made use of in order to measure organizational commitment. Terms belonged to organizational health, approaches for the organizational health; factors effecting organizational commitment and result of organizational commitment have been examined. The relation between organizational health and organizational commitment have been analyzed according to the views of to the academic personnel in the universities built in 2007.
