Abstract (EN)
In this study, levels of socioeconomic development for in 81 provinces in Turkey in 2009 and 2012 years on the basis of 21 variables were compared. The primary aim of the study is to determine how the various social and economic variables change according to a stable period in times of crisis and to compare the levels of socioeconomic development for two periods. At the same time, it is aimed to determine and compare the main factors underlying socioeconomic imbalances by various statistical methods. The variables used in the analysis from Ministry of Health publications Turkey Statistical Institute, the Banks Association of Turkey, Address Based Population Registration System, Ministry of Development, Population and Citizenship Affairs General Directorate, Ministry of National Education, has benefited. Using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23.0 package program, factor analysis and principal component analysis were used as factor generation method. As a result of factor analysis, two factors named as economic development and social development indicators were obtained. According to these factors, it was interpreted how the crisis period changed the socioeconomic balances. Formations that may affect the social and economic development levels of the provinces and the precautions and measures to be taken are explained.
