Özet (EN)

Group B Streptococcus in pregnant women, maternal and neonatal colonization of the vagina and the rectum in different sizes and can lead to severe infections. Group B streptococci, Streptococcus agalactiae, also known as preterm labor, premature rupture of membranes, chorioamnionitis, fetal and neonatal clinical and subclinical infections, adverse pregnancy outcomes, such as causes. In our study, routine pelvic examination during the third trimester, vaginal and rectal swab on the conventional methods, automated systems and molecular tests aimed to evaluate perinatal outcomes of pregnant women detected positive for group B streptococcus. According to the results of this study, third-trimester pregnant women as a routine screening test is intended to reveal whether it is necessary. In our study, the third trimester of Obstetrics and Gynecology pregnant women admitted for delivery during a routine pelvic examination, vaginal swab, followed by rectal swab samples were taken from swabla dacron. All of the samples taken from 552 patients attempting to culture; 70, GBS positivity was investigated by PCR. The study is a bacterial infection that causes any antibiotics in the last two weeks, pregnant women with a history of a previous caesarean section and planned for any reason, and immune system disorders in pregnant women undergoing elective cesarean section were excluded. Group 1 Group B Streptococcus-positive pregnant women, 2 Group B Streptococcus in pregnant women with a negative group was created. Positive and negative perinatal outcomes of pregnant women with GBS compared with data recorded. 6 Out of 552 pregnant women included in the study (1.08%) were detected positive for GBS by culture, PCR studied 70 pregnant women and 7 (10%) were positive for PCR. If two pregnant women with both culture and PCR were positive for GBS. smoking GBS positive group was higher (p <0,05). abortion imminent, premature rupture of membranes, preterm labor, intrauterine growth retardation, meconium-stained amniotic, chorioamnionitis, postpartum fever GBS positive group had a significantly higher (p <0,05). Groups were compared according to the characteristics of neonatal pneumonia, neonatal GBS positive group was significantly higher (p <0,05). Group B streptococci, a major cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality during pregnancy should be revised methods of screening and diagnosis of Group B Streptococcus. PCR according to the culture in the future due to the high sensitivity and rapid results are obtained by PCR screening can be done during the birth of group B Streptococcus. However, cost-driven routinely scanned at the first stage, in particular the prevention of possible complications will be useful for screening of pregnant women who are at risk.
