Abstract (EN)

Important decisions taken on the subjects discussed in the Divan-ı Hümayun in the Ottoman Empire were recorded in the Mühimme registers as provisions. Thus, it is possible to have information about the military, social and legal institutions and functioning of the state. For this reason, the mühimme books are among the archival sources of great importance due to the subjects they contain. Pages 65-125 of the Mühimme Book No. 30, dated 1577 is the main part of this study. This book transcription contains different subjects such as various administrative and judicial appointments, security, arbitration, maintenance, and repair of provinces, sanjaks, districts, towns and castles, banditry activities. In this study, pages 65-125 of Mühimme Notebook No. 30. were transcribed, summaries of judgments were extracted, and the study was concluded by adding an index.
