Vocational training practise in business is run accordence with the Law no:3308 for girls` Vocational High School students` assessed

This study aims at determining the level at which Vocational Training Students' Practice in Business is run in accordance with the Law No:3308 Vocational Training For Girls' Vocational High Schools, and assessing the results of practice. The study is a descriptive one based on screening model.Following the literature research, in order to obtain the necessary data for the study, a likert type of questionnaire was designed and classified in order to be applied with the monitoring instructors, trainess and business representatives. The scope of this study consists of the students doing practice in Ankara in accordance with the Law No:3308, Vocational Training Practice in Business, their monitoring teachers, and the business runners where these students are practising.The study was conducted with the 3rd grade students in the departments of Hairdressing-Skin Care, Textile Clothing and Mass Production Clothing in Atatürk Girls' Vocational High School, Zübeyde Hanım Girls' Vocational High School, Yıldırım Beyazıt Girls' Vocational High School.and Cebeci Girls' Vocational High School; and monitoring instructors of the students and the representatives of the businesses where the students do their practice.The guestionnaire was conducted on 17 monitoring instructors, 83 practioner students, and 27 representatives of the business. In the analysis of the first part of the questionnaire, the percentage of data concerning the individual characteristics of participating groups has been measured and the findigs are given in tables.In the second part. The Mean (X) and Standart Deviation (Ss) of opinions of participants have been assessed and these are presented in tables.The opinions of Instructor-Trainee, Instructor- Business Representative and Trainee-Business Representative have been mcompared; The Mean (X) and Standart Deviation (Ss) of these opinions have been assessed; it has been controlled with a 't' test if there is any significant difference among the opinions; the meaning fullness level has been determined ; and the findings have been presented in the tables.The opinions of Trainee- Instructor-Business Representative have been compared, The Mean (X) and Standart Deviation (Ss) of the opinions have been measured; it has been controlled with a one dimensional variance test if there is any significant difference among their opinions; and the difference level has been determined by applying the "schefee" test. When the obtained data were assessed, it became obvious that monitoring instructors care much about the choice of businesses for practice.Altough monitoring instrucors and business representatives declared that they had made quite succesfully the necessary preparations to be done prior to the practice, students stated that these preparations were ordinary.lt has been observed that, however, monitoring instructors and business representatives were successful in during-practice applications; and that there remarkable difference among the opinions of the groups.The students mildly demanded that they be provided with opportunities to do practice in all the production units, precautions should be taken as regards vocational ailments and accidents, and they should be allowed to use machines and tools in the business place.The students stated that during the practice period they were forced, partly, to do errands irrelevant to their duties, and business representatives also supported this fact. The students declared that they have benefited from the practice to an average extent. When an overall assesment is made, it has been determined that there are problematic points as regards Vocational Training Practice, and that the official do not pay much attention to this practice; and accordingly some remedial suggestions have been made.
